At the 2024 Taste of Kildare festival, we're thrilled to welcome a diverse array of local and visiting chefs from around the country and beyond. Each brings their unique culinary expertise and cultural influences to our celebration. Prepare your taste buds as our talented chefs prepare to showcase their signature dishes, offering a unique fusion of flavours and techniques.

Derry Clarke - Chef

Derry Clarke

Derry is a chef and was the proprietor of the restaurant L'Ecrivain and now brings his Michelin experience to The Club Hotel at Goffs. He acted as a judge on the RTÉ TV series Fáilte Towers.

Natalie Collins - Chef

Natalie Collins

Natalie is a chef, restaurateur and the culinary director of Gourmet Goodies Ltd. With a current location at The Irish National Stud and Gardens she has created multiple award-winning premises.

Magali Buisson - Chef

Magali Buisson

Head chef at O'Dooles Restaurant, Kildare's newest fine dining experience. Magali creates classic French cuisine with an Irish influence using the best local ingredients.

Fallons of Kilcullen

Duro Vdovic

Duro is head chef at Fallons of Kilcullen, an multi-award winning restaurant in Kildare. Collaborations with local food producers and artisans have created an authentic food experience.

Rachel Allen - Chef

Rachel Allen

Rachel is the author of several best selling cookery books. She has popular television series for RTÉ and the BBC and she frequently appears on BBC's Saturday Kitchen.

Ross Lewis - Chef

Ross Lewis

Ross is an Irish Michelin-star-winning head chef and co-owner of the restaurant Chapter One, a fine dining restaurant that has been awarded two Michelin stars since 2022.

Melissa McCabe - Feast

Melissa McCabe

Street Feast founder Melissa has travelled extensively and worked in many fine dining restaurants. Her Feast food truck brings fresh, seasonal and local food to fans nationwide.

Martin Shanahan in his kitchen

Martin Shanahan

Martin is owner of Fishy Fishy and one of Ireland's leading seafood chefs. He spent his early career working in The Butler Arms, Waterville followed by becoming head chef at Jim Edwards, Kinsale.
