Hi, I’m Ben.
I’m a chef and entrepreneur from Kildare Town with a love for simple food, good style and bringing people together around a table. I’ve always thought food and fashion have a lot in common. They’re seasonal, expressive and both have the power to make people feel something.
I recently graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Culinary Arts from SETU Waterford, having also spent time cooking in Barcelona, at Ballymaloe Cookery School and at Sessions Arts Club in London. Those experiences taught me that great cooking starts with exceptional ingredients and knowing when to let them speak for themselves.
Back home, I run seasonal supper clubs with my family and recently opened BEOUR, my smash burger food truck on the Wexford coast. Whether it’s fine dining or burgers, my cooking is rooted in Irish produce, generosity and simplicity. To me, food has always been life’s constant, it’s how we celebrate, connect and look after one another.
