01. Before the Festival

Check the festival schedule and shortlist any special classes or events that you want to attend.

  • Taste of Kildare offers:
    • Restaurants: where you can sample everything from Michelin stared venues to local food trucks.
    • Chefs: will be giving demos, talks and masterclasses all weekend.
    • Entertainment: music and family activities.
    • Artisan Producers: discover new brands and old favourites from the best the county has to offer.
    • Special events: including workshops, VIP areas and much more.
  • Take note of events, restaurants, key vendors and chefs you want to visit and choose your session time.

  • Friday, 20th September 6-10:30pm
  • Saturday, 21st September 12-4:30pm
  • Saturday, 21st September 6-10:30pm
  • Sunday, 22nd September 12-6pm (Family Day)

02. On the Day

  • Note the session time on your ticket and arrive on time. This means you can explore the entire session schedule.
  • Book spots in workshop/talks/masterclasses.
  • Choose what restaurants and food trucks you want to try.
  • Make time to chat with Kildare's top chefs and artisan producers.
  • Enjoy specialist festival zones like the Italian Quarter.

Getting There

  • On site parking is free all weekend.
  • Shuttle busses will be provided in the evenings from The Racecourse into Naas town.
  • Naas Racecourse is approximately 15 mins walk (1.2 km) from the center of Nass Town.

03. Try New Things

  • Sample dishes from multiple restaurants.
  • Try beverages you haven't tasted before.
  • View cooking demos.
  • Participate in workshops.
  • Enjoy the kid-friendly activities on Sunday's Family Day.
  • Have a boogie at the musical entertainment between tastings.
  • If attending multiple sessions, vary your approach each time, there's so much to explore.
  • There are many free things enjoy at Taste of Kildare including live music, demonstrations and tastings from our artisan producers.
