How much are the tickets?
Tickets are €15 per adult if bought online prior to the festival. On the day and at the gate tickets will be €20 so we encourage you to buy in advance!
Under 10's go free. 10+ require a ticket for entry. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
What does my ticket get me?
Your ticket guarantees admission to the festival where you can sample an array of dishes from Kildare and beyond. On top of that, there will be a free children's area, music and entertainment, a host of bars and Irish Craft Breweries. There will be plenty of interesting vendors, ice creams, and all manner of delights in between.
Can I purchase tickets at the gate?
Yes provided the event is not sold out! Tickets will be €20 at the gate on the day so we advise you buy in advance.
Is the event family friendly?
Yes! There will also be lots of fun activities for kids throughout the festival over the weekend.

Do you take group/corporate bookings?

Can I change my tickets for another day?
All tickets are non-transferable. Please take time to read our booking terms & conditions when booking.
Can I get a refund?
Unless the event is cancelled, all tickets are non-refundable. Please take time to read our booking terms & conditions before you make a purchase.
How do I get my tickets?
Your tickets will be emailed to you. You can choose to print them or better yet, present them to us on your smartphone & we’ll take it from there. We prefer the latter option; it’s better for the environment.
Please use the email you used to purchase the tickets to retrieve your e-tickets.
Please note there will be NO ticket collections available at the venue.

Where is Taste of Kildare taking place?
Taste of Kildare 2025 will take place at Naas Racecourse, Kildare on Saturday, 16th August & Sunday, 17th August
How can I get there?
JJ Kavanagh & Sons operate 24 services daily from Dublin City Centre (Georges Quay, Heuston Station, Red Cow or Dublin Airport) to Naas Town. Click here for more information.
Other public transport options include Go-Ahead Ireland, Dublin Coach and Irish Rail.
The closest train station is Sallins. The festival will be operating a free shuttle bus from Sallins Train Station to Naas Racecourse when trains arrive, as well as from Popular Square in Naas every hour on the hour.

Is there car parking at Naas Racecourse?
Yes there is FREE Car Parking. There is no priority parking, it is on a first come first served basis.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Naas Racecourse is an age friendly racecourse and all areas are accessible by wheelchair.
The Grandstand and the Circle both have lifts and accessible toilets.
There are seating areas for wheelchair users, seats with armrests and benches with wheelchair spaces.
Designated accessible parking spaces are also available.
Are there baby changing facilities?
A designated baby change facility will be located beside our organisers' office. This will be clearly marked on our site map, or a member of staff can direct you to it when on site.
Food, Drink & More
Will refreshments be available?
Yes, craft beers, cider, wines, cocktails, whiskey, gin, non-alcoholic, juices, soft drinks, coffee and teas will be available.
How much will food and drink be?
The prices will start from €7 for participating vendors and restaurants. Bear in mind, some dishes vary in pricing based on the quality of meat and ingredients used. Craft beer is from €6 for a pint. Long drinks and cocktails start from €8.
Do you provide dietary options?
Can I bring my own food and drink into the event?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the festival gates. Only food and drinks purchased inside the events are permitted, with the exception of baby food.
Will there be a kid's area?
Yes, this year there will be a lovely big children’s area with entertainment, face painting, arts and crafts, playground and much more.
Will there be workshops?
Yes, there will be a variety of workshops for attendees to enjoy. Additionally, there will be some exciting, ticketed workshops that can be added at an extra cost to enhance your event experience.
Will there be live music?

Good to Know
Are pets allowed?
Guide dogs are permitted on site. No pets are allowed, your furry friends will have to stay at home.
I lost something at the event what do I do?
If you are still at the festival, please visit the organisers office. If you have left the festival, please email info@tasteofkildare.ie.

Is there an ATM?
The nearest ATM is in Naas town. All vendors and food trucks will accept card and contactless payments.
How do I pay for my food and drink?
Contactless and mobile payments will be available throughout the site. You can pay by card or mobile at all vendors. Taste of Kildare is a cashless event.
Security & Policies
Security measures in place at Taste of Kildare
Taste of Kildare has a robust security management plan, which is coordinated by event security. Security checks will be in place throughout the event, including bag searches, which may result in delays when entering the site. We ask all guests to be vigilant and not to leave bags or belongings unattended. CCTV will be in operation.
Important Notice
In line with standard security protocols, we are asking visitors not to bring backpacks or large bags to Taste of Kildare. We will be implementing bag searches so please be aware of this and cooperate with our security staff should you be asked permission for your bag to be searched.
Our primary concern is the safety of all our visitors. Line-up subject to change terms & conditions apply. Event subject to license.
Photography Notice
All sound and moving or still picture rights including, without limitation, on the Internet, vest exclusively with the Organisers and any material filmed or recorded at the Event may only be used for the personal, non-profit making enjoyment of amateurs.
By entering the venue, Ticket Holders consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded as visitors attending the Event, and consent to the image or recording of them being used in future marketing material for the Event, or their sponsors.
